Elizabeth Miller was a teenage highschool student from Odessa, New York. Elizabeth became the main subject of our interest
upon the discovery of the website "LizChat," which details her unusual death. Connections were swiftly made between
Liz and what our team had at the time been calling "The Swamp Thing," and Odessa Siren Sightings was founded just thereafter.
According to archived versions of LizChat from before it was updated to Liz's obituary, Liz believed herself to be a psychic,
one capable of divining information for those active on her website. In life, she had accumulated a decently large following of
those who trusted in her psychic abilities, and she even hosted other alleged psychics on her website.
Liz was frequently harassed by other students and townsfolk of odessa, potentially by those shunning her for her alleged psychic
ability. However, we are lead to believe that Elizabeth identified as both transgender and a lesbian, which may have been a large
factor in her harassment given the conservative and religious small town nature of Odessa. The combination of these factors is
believed to have been the cause for her death.
The author of the obituary on Liz's website claims to have attempted to report Liz's death to the local police as a murder,
only to be ignored. Currently, Odessa police deny any claims of murder, but our evidence continues to suggest otherwise.
We at Odessa Siren Sightings believe this Liz to be the spirit we call the Odessa Siren. It is unknown if Elizabeth's psychic
abilities are the cause of this haunting due to the unclear validity of their existence, however it is entirely clear that her
percieved psychic ablitities lead those we have contacte to feel paranoia surrounding the subject of her death and how she was in life.
